Future vision for the development of education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
in light of Kingdom’s vision 2030
The objective of this research is to propose a strategy for the development of education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the light of the Saudi Vision 2030 in order to develop the educational system and all its components. The research methodology was descriptive comparative analytical, and the researcher adopted the tool of survey and comprehensive analysis of primary and secondary sources on the subject through a review of previous literature and related theoretical frameworks. The researcher identified strengths and opportunities and identified current and future weaknesses and challenges. The researcher also reviewed the strategic plans and the periodic goals of the ministry in addition to the objectives of the national transformation program for education. The researcher presented various issues related to the strategies and policies related to the future of education in the Kingdom; they were simplified to be clear and ready for practical application. In conclusion, the researcher presented a mechanism to implement and apply the vision on the ground in a practical way to achieve the objectives designed for it.
