This research aims to explore the role of a secondary school in expanding a culture of respect regarding contemporary changes. It also seeks to find a proposed visualization to strengthen this role. To achieve this goal، the researchers used the analytical descriptive approach which is appropriate for the current study. The approach requires a review of studies، researchers، reports and references، then، is to carefully analyze and study the previous literature that is related to the topic of research. The researchers concluded that educational institutions in particular schools play a significant role in raising awareness among young people regarding a culture of respect. This purpose could be achieved through a curriculum، teacher، school policy and pedagogy.
Many international organizations have aimed their workers in encouraging them for the conception of a culture of respect through the approval of many global programs and initiatives. Thus، those companies have launched some helped programs، for example، the ‘stay together’ campaign، which is aimed at promoting tolerance، respect and dignity across the world. The secondary schools can benefit from social media platforms by creating collaborative networks in a community to foster better understanding، shared respect and the importance of dialogue.
Curriculum plays a major role in promoting and instilling a spirit of respect through curriculum vocabulary. The researchers presented a number of recommendations، the most important of which are: Firstly، establishing and developing guidance programs that keep pace with the changes of the current era. This is to highlight the importance and value of respect between the communities emerging from the nature of student، society، knowledge، and values. Secondly، implementing the principle of community partnership through the partnership between the school and the family. This would be through continuous communication via the field visits or electronic platforms that can be connected between the school and the family of the student in order to enhance the value of teaching a culture of respect.
