Trends and behaviors of students of the University of Palestine Technical – Ramallah Branch from the point of view of the lecturers

ABSTRACT
The study aimed to know the trends and the behaviour of the female-students at the college in all the educational areas, and to determine the level of the overall practice of the college lecturers to the methods of behaviour modification and changing the trends of the female-students. The researcher has used the descriptive and analytical approach. A questionnaire was accomplished for this pur-pose. It was applied on a sample of (29) lecturers, who have been randomly selected in a stratified way. The study has revealed that the trends and the behaviour of the female-students at Palestine Technical College – Ramallah / for Girls from the teachers’ perspective are good. The girls possess positive trends towards the college. These results are due to the use of modern methods in modify-ing the students’ behaviour by the lecturers. The study has also demonstrated that there are no statistically significant differences due to the years of experience variable about the degree of the lecturers’ use of behaviour medication methods. Furthermore, the study has shown that there are no statistically significant differences to gender (male / female). There are also no statistically significant differences related to the variable of education qualification. The study has recommended the lecturers to increase the use of the methods of gentleness and kindness, to express sympathy with the female-students and to introduce material and moral incentives for outstanding students in both scientific and behavioural side from the college administration. The study has also recommended in-vesting in arts that aim to promote the positive behaviour among students.

The effect of the use of computerized collaborative learning on the achievement of eighth grade students in mathematics

ABSTRACT
 The aim of this study was to reveal the effect of the use of computerized cooperative learning on the achievement of the eighth grade students in mathematics, In order to achieve the objective of the study, the semi-empirical approach was used to take two groups, one experimental and the other control, where the sample size of the study (128) students from the eighth grade, both the pre and post tests were used for both groups. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) between the achievement scores of the students who learned through the computerized cooperative learning method (the experimental group) compared to the students who learned in the traditional way (the control group) For the experimental group, where the mean of the experimental group (23.04), while the control group obtained an average of (16.82). In light of the results of the study, the study recommended a number of recommendations to activate cooperative learning in schools.

The use of modern technology in the educational process in Saudi Arabia and its role in improving the performance of teachers and students

ABSTRACT
 The study aimed to identify the modern technologies that can be used in education and its importance, and identify the effect of the use of these techniques on improving the performance of teachers and students in the educational process. In order to achieve the objectives of the study; the researcher used the descriptive analytical comparative approach, to compare the employment of modern technologies in the Arab home countries and their impact on learning in those countries. The study found that there are many modern techniques and modern teaching methods that can be used in education such as computers and e-books. Modern techniques play a major role in improving teacher performance in the learning process, located on the teacher the responsibility of education, the teacher is the guided for the student and it he which uses these techniques.  Also the study has found that the modern techniques compact working into the process of education to develop and improve the performance of students, it helps to solve the problems and difficulties faced by the programs, patterns, and experiences used in education. Many of the Arab Home Countries have worked on the use of modern technologies in their educational institutions. This helped the development of science and keep abreast of developments and improve the level of knowledge of students in those countries and thus improve the level of society.

The effectiveness of a behavioral cognitive training program to develop the nutritional awareness of the mothers of children with learning disabilities who are distracted and distracted in Najran

ABSTRACT
The aim of the research was to at investigating the efficacy of the counseling cognitive – behavioral program for developing the nutritional awareness of mothers of children with learning disabilities, whose suffering from the attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, in Najran, KSA, After a period in sequential measurement.
The descriptive and semi-empirical approaches were used , The sample consisted of (20) , and equally to two groups, experimental and control and one each Including (10) mother..The study tools consisted of The scale of Khalil (2003) for the economic, social, and cultural, in addition to a questionnaire for the nutritional awareness and Counseling cognitive-behavioral Program on Developing the Nutritional Awareness of mothers that was prepared by the researchers , Using SPSS in data processing; The study concluded that the developed program was effective in enhancing the nutritional awareness of the mothers of children with learning disabilities whose suffering from the attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, At the general level, the experimental group obtained an average of (114.7) of (150) against an average of (69) from (150) only to the control group, a difference of (45.7), The experimental group in the telemetry obtained an average of (114.7) against the average (68.8) in the tribal measurement by a difference of (3.5), And the value of the ETA box (0.89). The experimental group in the telemetry obtained an average of (114.7) against the average (111.2) in the sequential measurement and the value of the ETA box (0.034)..

The role of the programs of the Deanship of Scientific Research at King Saud University in developing the research skills of the students

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to identify the role of scientific research deanship programs at King Saudi University in the development of research skills of the postgraduate students in the humanitarian faculties. The researcher relied on the descriptive approach and survey as methodology. The sample of the study consists of (n= 351) postgraduate students in King Saud University in the humanitarian faculties. Using the statistical program (SPSS), the study reached the following results: Key results of the study: the role of scientific research deanship programs at King Saudi University in the development of research skills got an overall average (2.87) out of (5) with the option (I agree to some extent) and on the (developing the students find and access to information skills) the overall average was (2.90) with the option (I agree to some extent) also (developing the students writing and documenting skills) with an overall average of (2.90) with the option (I agree to some extent), followed by the (Developing the skills related to the implementation of the steps of scientific research among students) with an overall average (2.85) with the option (I agree to some extent), and finally(Development of skills related to statistical analysis of female students ) with an overall average (2.82), with the option (somewhat agree). There were statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0,05) in the responses of members of the Search community for the benefit of the Search sample members in the master stage. There were statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0,05) in the responses of the Search sample members in the faculties of (Education and Literature) and the responses of the Search community members in the Faculties of (Business Administration, Political Science, Law, Tourism and Archaeology, For the benefit of colleges (Education, Literature). In the light of the results, the Search recommended a number of recommendations to develop the research skills of the students including: Increase the symposiums, training courses and workshops provided by the Scientific Research Deanship program in the University. Engage experienced teaching staff members in the deanship programs for service of postgraduate students and helping them to answer their inquiries. Maximize the benefit of social media to reach the largest possible category of postgraduate students. Hold periodic meetings with postgraduate students to identify the deanship services.
