Abstract:
Over the past two decades, the number of mobile phones in many countries has increased and its functions rapidly increased, from hundreds of thousands to millions, per country! The use of the phone can negatively affect the driver’s physical and cognitive performance and his or her ability to make critical and correct decisions. The driver reads incoming messages or writes them, or speaks in depth, distracting him from driving and causing accidents The lack of focus of the driver behind the steering wheel, inspected by a key element of the sound leadership is “vigilance”, attention to all the remains and the same all the time, there are a lot of behaviors during the driving driver loses his attention, such as eating and smoking and the selection of stations in the radio, Mobile (mobile) during the driving The study has been studied in order to identify the extent of the impact of telephone concern on traffic accidents and also identify the main causes of accidents and help in the development of solutions and proposals to reduce this problem in the future The study followed the analytical descriptive method, where the variables related to the study are described, the study sample was analyzed, the hypotheses were tested and their effect was applied to a sample of 114 samples. The results of the study showed that the concern about the phone has a great relation to the traffic accidents. The causes of the accident can be doubled as the risk of accidents is doubled nine times if drivers are driving to pick up something in the car, while the risk increases three times if they are busy with mobile phones. , As it can be the accident less than a second that just to catch his phone the accident happens to it It also proved that the phone loses the focus of the driving driver significantly and may cause a traffic accident affected by the driver and those with him because of the mobile phone as well as a large percentage of the sample know and understand the risks and negative effects, most of them busy with his car driving the car, The current punishment is not enough to deter this phenomenon.
